All Natural Room Sprays

Room Spray Bottle Idea

I know a lot of people will be doing some spring cleaning and so I thought I’d share a quick recipe for making air fresheners.

To make your own air freshener you will need one cup of distilled water 8-10 drops of your favorite essential oil, and a spray bottle that has a fine mist spray on it.  And a cute little label.

Basically all you will do is pour the water and add drops of essential oil into the spray bottle.  Shake very well.  And let it sit for a few hours before you use it.  How simple is that??  Make sure you shake well before every use to make sure the oils are distributed evenly.  Now take your label and write on a snazzy name for your scent and place it on your bottle.

I encourage you to mix and match your own fragrances and be as creative as you want.  But I will share just a few favorites.  And remember the different oils can vary in their fragrance strength so you can add or subtract the amount you use.

For a pet deodorizing spray you can mix cedarwood and tea tree oils.

For apple spice use cinnamon and clove oils.

To make orange spice use orange and cinnamon.

And my personal favorite is Bedtime bliss using lavender and chamomile oils.  Spray a little in your bedroom about 30 minutes before going to sleep.

Have fun spring cleaning.
