Decorating With Dishtowels
Dishtowels are the perfect little prim decoration, yet they are so practical.
Use your dishtowels with your handmade goods to make a great display. In my home I like to use my nice towels instead of doilies in most any room in my home. And depending on the size of table you are decorating a dishtowel will make a great table runner.
Place your towels in your baskets, crocks and even in your old wooden boxes or bowls. To get a great look just open the towel and lay it over the item of your choice and tuck the center down in, now you have the corners to drape gently over the edge. Fill this with candles, bowl fillers or even your own handmade dollies.
Now its time to think outside the box, if your towel has a nice print or embroidery on it go ahead and cut it to size and frame it using a nice mat and a great old picture frame. Hang this on your wall or sit it on a dresser.
